Being the biggest alcohol factory in Central Europe Gyõr Distillery Co. Ltd. has built stable markets among the Hungarian and European alcohol users.
The capacity of the plant is 40 million litres of fermented and distilled ethanol
and 26 million litres of dehydrated ethanol
in a year.
Gyõr Distillery mainly uses molasses as feedstock
but we have a capacity to produce ethanol from grain, too. We sell the vinasse and the residue of grain processing, the by-products of alcohol production, for agricultural companies.
In our own laboratory
we use the most modern analysing methods.
Gyõr Distillery, as an environment-consciously operating company, has been considering the issue of bioethanol
its strategic goal for almost a decade; it was preparing consciously and did a lot for the preparation of its launching in Hungary.
